Recreate the Grand Trunk Western Legacy
The South Oakland County Model Railroad Club is dedicated to preserving the history and charm of the Grand Trunk Western’s Holly Subdivision through detailed modeling, community events, and shared passion for the art of railroading.
Membership is currently available. Prospective applicants are assigned a sponsor to help them get to know the club members, activities, facilities and keep them aware of scheduled events.

Start your road to membership
- 60 day minimum evaluation period
- Access to the clubhouse & layout with their sponsor senior member
- After evaluation period & attendance criteria met, invitation to join as a full member will be voted on by the club.
Junior
Empowering the Next Generation
- Open to members under 18, and young adults still in school
- Access to the clubhouse & layout with a senior member
- No voting rights
Senior
Sustaining our future
- 24/7 access to the club & layout
- Full voting rights
- Open to members over 18.
