Design Editor

Served as Design Editor for the Washtenaw Voice newspaper, earning multiple accolades for his design work and contributing to the news team’s general press awards. Notably, the team received the Associated Collegiate Press’s Pacemaker Award in 2016.

As Design Editor, was tasked with overseeing a redesign of the newspaper, as well as day-to-day page layout & illustrations for the publications. Additionally the design editor role was responsible for managing a team designers and working with other departments to ensure publication accuracy and timeliness.

Newspaper rebranding

Showcasing a new news team a rebranding of the newspaper was made. The new layout included more flexible content blocks for creating a consistent style in an ever-changing media.

Snow Blind

Collaborative effort between all departments covering a school’s response to a snowstorm. As well as hard hitting first amendment coverage or collegiate policing. Winning the newspaper the ACP’s Pacemaker award.

Standout Print Designs

Layout designs and illustrations that broke the mold for typical broadsheet newspaper design.
